About me
I'm someone who believes in emphasizing hard work, personal growth, spiritual growth, and staying true to who I am. Whether I'm setting goals in fitness, academics, or life in general, I approach everything with focus and integrity. I value honesty, discipline, and continues improvement, not just for myself but so I can positively impact those around me. I'm passionate about pushing my limits, learning from every challenge I'm faced with, and always striving to become a better version of myself.

Drive
The hardest lifts in life are the ones that matter most. It is far beyond the physical benefits, but the mental benefits that bring me to the gym daily. Weightlifting has built a sense of discipline and perseverance in my life. It has taught me that just because something is hard and may seem out of reach, does not mean it's impossible.
I aspire to one day start a family of my own. But until then I know that if I want to be a suitable father I need to be the best possible version of myself. "One of the most important things a father can do for his children is to model strength, resilience, and a steady heart. Children learn courage by seeing it." — Fitzhugh Dodson. To be a good father, son, or husband, I need to be resilient. Life will not always be easy and I know that, but I need to be able to get back up when the going gets tough to provide for my family.
Going to the gym has also helped me spiritually. It has helped me realize how blessed I am to be able to work and use my body to its fullest. The Bible refers to the body being a temple, the more I care for my body, the closer I feel to God.
Progress is not seen overnight. Whether it's seeing strength in the gym or building a business, everything takes time. This concept took me a while to understand, but I can now comprehend it confidently. I have built the mental fortitude that will keep me driving for success, not being quick to give up, but pushing harder through the adverse challenges in life I am faced with.
After Highschool
This September, I will be attending the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) for their Engineering Physics program, a two-year diploma in mechatronics. After completing the program, I plan to transfer to a UBC campus—ideally in Kelowna—for three more years (or four with a co-op) to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. I may also pursue a Master’s in Business afterward. My long-term goal is to either work alongside my dad and eventually take over his civil construction company when he is ready to retire, or to join a company with strong advancement opportunities and work my way to a leadership position.
